The Lorraine Development Commission worked to prepare the Final Draft of a proposed Development Law. A Public Hearing was held on November 1, 2012. The matter is now in the hands of the Town Board.
May 23th: A Public Hearing will be held starting at 6:30 PM at the municipal offices on the proposed Lorraine Special Areas map. The public is welcome to review the map and comment.
Cemetery Clean Up Day: Your support and time would be appreciated to help us clean up the local cemetery in Lorraine on May 18th starting at 10:00. We will meet at the cemetery next to the church to start the day. Please bring rakes, wheel barrows, and shovels. Thank-you & hope to see you there!
May 23 and June 27 @ 7:00 PM: The Town Board will conduct a work session to discuss the proposed development law and any other matter that may come before the board.
Board of Assessment Review: If you are interested in being a member of the Board of Assessment Review, please contact the Town Clerk. We are looking for two members. The Board meets once a year.
